Description:
Comfort Potato Casserole
Ingredients:
Two bags of frozen Ore-Ida hash brown or diced potatoes
Two cans of cream of chicken soup
2 lbs of Cheddar Cheese
1 cup of chopped onion
2 sticks of real butter
1 pint of Sour Cream
2 cups of Corn Flake cereal
Directions:
Grease larger casserole dish. Mix hash browns, cream of chicken soup, cheddar cheese, onion, sour cream and one stick of melted butter in casserole dish. Mix together. Crush the Corn Flakes, add to one stick of melted butter and mix evenly. Spread the buttered corn flakes on top of the casserole. Bake at 375 degrees for one hour and 15 minutes.

*For those desiring extra comfort, crushed traditional Lays potato chips without the stick of butter can be used as the topping instead of corn flakes.
