Obituary

Geneva Lee Pottinger, 88, of New Haven, passed away Monday, November 28, 2016 at Sunrise Manor Hodgenville.
She was the former Geneva Skaggs, a lifelong resident of New Haven, retired employee of the Bardstown Sewing Factory, and a member of First Baptist Church New Haven.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Butler R. Pottinger III, along with her three brothers, Harold, Bill, and Kenneth Skaggs.She is survived by her son, Butler Ramey Pottinger IV (Donna); her daughter, Karen Denise Roggenkamp (Steve) of Georgetown, KY; two sisters, Betty Pottinger and Rita Ann Malone; three grandchildren, Casey Clark, Quint Pottinger, and Lee Roggenkamp and two great-grandchildren, Haven Reece Clark and Adeline Jean "Della" Clark.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 3 at the First Baptist Church in New Haven with burial to follow in Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, December 2 at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the WMU of First Baptist Church New Haven.
