Pottinger Cemetery to be named Kentucky Pioneer Cemetery

The public is invited to a dedication of the Pottinger Family Cemetery (established 1795) as a Kentucky Pioneer Cemetery at 2 PM on Saturday Oct. 08.  The cemetery is located east of New Haven at 4394 New Hope Road.  The Pottinger family has worked for many years to restore the monuments and burial site for Capt. Samuel Pottinger’s 1st & 2nd wives, Samuel Pottinger Jr., T.J. Pottinger, and other family members.
