Rita is the daughter of Lee and Estella Cash Pottinger. She had 7 sisters (Ethel, Ruby, Mollie, Betty, Lottie, Louree, and Nancy) and 3 brothers, (Samuel, Hardin, Virgil). Rita is your Dad’s 1st cousin, once removed.
Rita’s uncles and aunts are Robert Wilkerson Pottenger, Mary Ann Pottinger, Christine Emma Pottinger, Millard Fillmore Pottinger Bettie Lewis Pottinger (still living in state of Washington) and Dr Samuel Lancaster Pottinger.
Rita’s grandfather and grandmother are Samuel Pottenger II and Lucinda Jameson
